Dr. Jason Vollmecke D.C. was Born and Raised in Independence, MO. He is highly invested in the community that he still calls HOME. He is a member of the Independence Chamber of Commerce, the Kansas City World Outreach Lions Club, and an active contributor to the Independence School District. Dr. Vollmecke spent time studying at Baylor University in Waco, TX before receiving a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Kansas.
He then spent 4 years as a Mental Health Social Worker before returning to school where he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Cleveland University-Kansas City. In addition to manual adjusting of the spine, upper and lower extremities, Dr. Vollmecke also specializes in low-force adjusting techniques, such as Activator and Sacro-Occipital Technique and Flexion-Distraction, that are ideal for infants, children and those with bones that just aren't as strong as they used to be.
