While in high school, she became more interested in chiropractic as health care career. She attended the University of North Dakota and graduted from Minnesota State Univerisity Moorhead with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. She received her Doctorate of Chiropractic Degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 2003 and became certified in Acupuncture in 2004.
