Kunkel, D.C. is a local to the area as she grew up in Kempton and graduated from Kutztown Area High School.
She began her pursuit of higher education at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts. Dr. Abbie earned her Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry and then decided to further her education and study chiropractic due to her own personal experiences with chiropractic care. After attending Life University in Marietta, Georgia for 2 years, she transferred to Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, California where she earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2004.
Her first position as a chiropractor was with University Injury Center in Philadelphia, PA and then was an associate doctor at Kulp Family Chiropractic for 2 years in Reading, PA.
