Applied kinesiology was founded in 1964 by Dr. George J. Goodheart, and it has grown into a discipline that bridges the gaps between all health professions in order to work in harmony for the benefit of the patient.
It is comprised of many examination and treatment techniques in order to identify neurologic dysfunction and restore health. The methods of applied kinesiology are diagnostic; however, they are not primarily for the purpose of naming a disease or illness, but to understand the process or fundamental cause.
